Overview

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Assistant General Manager/General Manager of Commercial Operations & Product Launch to lead and oversee the commercialization strategies, operational excellence, and successful product launches within our rapidly growing pharmaceutical organization. The ideal candidate will bring a strong combination of strategic vision, operational expertise, and industry knowledge to drive growth and ensure successful entry of new products into the market.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership:

  • Develop and execute comprehensive commercialization strategies for new and existing pharmaceutical products.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including R&D, regulatory, marketing, and sales, to align product launches with company objectives.
  • Managing relationship with all actors involved in the supply chain such as contract manufacturer, starting materials manufactures, logistics partners, Importation, testing and release for alignment with company timeline
  • Monitor current and historical trends, competitive landscape, and market dynamics to identify growth opportunities and address challenges.

Product Launch Management:

  • Lead end-to-end product launch initiatives, ensuring timely and efficient market entry.
  • Design and implement launch readiness plans, including regulatory approval, supply chain coordination, and sales force preparedness.
  • Establish KPIs and success metrics to evaluate product performance and launch impact.

Commercial Operations:

  • Optimize commercial processes, including sales operations, demand forecasting, and pricing strategies.
  • Oversee CRM tools, analytics platforms, and other technologies to drive data-driven decision-making.
  • Ensure alignment between commercial teams and other organizational functions to enhance operational efficiency.

Team Leadership:

  • Build, mentor, and manage a high-performing commercial operations team.
  • Foster a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement within the department.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, life sciences, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  • 10+ years of experience in pharmaceutical commercial operations, product launches, supply chain management, project management or related roles, with a proven track record of success in fast-paced environment.
  • Strong understanding of pharmaceutical product lifecycle, regulatory requirements, and market access strategies.
  • Exceptional leadership and team-building skills, with the ability to inspire and manage cross-functional teams.
  • Developing system and processes to align company’s growth
  • Proficiency in commercial tools and systems (e.g., CRM, data analytics platforms).
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
